The Volunteer Centers of Michigan has adopted a strategic plan for 2007-2011.

Vision Priorities:

1. We created our identity across the state
   Priority Leader: Denise Hubbard-Volunteer Connections of Montcalm Co.
   
2. We defined specific outcomes with data to prove value
   Priority Leader: Martha Bottomley-Volunteer Muskegon!
   
3. We created and implemented professional development opportunities for our members

4. We obtained sufficient resources to enhance the network and its members
   Priority Leader: James Pearl- Volunteer Center of Battle Creek
5. We use the most up-to-date technology for recruitment, fund-raising, advocacy, and meetings
   Priority Leader: Judy Huth- Volunteer Center of Kalamazoo
6. We created a volunteer presence in every community in Michigan
   Priority Leader: Kristina Beamish-United Way Volunteer Center of Chippewa County
